Uttarakhand Chief Minister Mr. Pushkar Singh Dhami has given financial approval of Rs. 6.89 crore for various developmental projects across six districts. The sanctioned amount covers roads, playgrounds, temple beautification, and public facilities, reflecting the state government’s focus on holistic infrastructure development and cultural preservation.

Nature Park and Heritage Revival in Dehradun and Chamoli

In Dehradun district, Rs. 1 crore has been sanctioned for the establishment of a Nature Park in Hesco Village, Shuklapur. The first installment of Rs. 60 lakh has already been released.

In Chamoli district, Rs. 45.40 lakh has been approved for the renovation and reconstruction of the ancient Kwatha in Sarkot village near Bhararisain. This initiative aims to preserve local heritage while promoting tourism in the region.

Roads and Playgrounds in Pithoragarh District

For Pithoragarh district, Rs. 25 lakh has been sanctioned for the connecting road from Jamradi to Thalkedar via Meltinath. Additionally, Rs. 68.59 lakh has been approved for the expansion of the playground in the village council Pabh, with the first installment of Rs. 41.15 lakh already released.

Sainik Smarak and Public Facilities in Champawat

In Champawat district, Rs. 1 crore has been approved for the construction of a Sainik Smarak in Banbasa to honor the contributions of soldiers. Out of this, Rs. 60 lakh has been released as the first installment. Another Rs. 60 lakh has been sanctioned for setting up Aadhaar and Common Service Centres in 10 cooperative societies of the district, boosting digital access and public service delivery.

Temple Beautification in Almora District

For Almora district, the Chief Minister has sanctioned Rs. 1 crore for the beautification and renovation of the Manila Devi temple. Similarly, Rs. 87.95 lakh has been approved for the renovation of the Patal Devi temple in the village style, with Rs. 52.77 lakh released as the first installment. These initiatives highlight the state’s emphasis on preserving cultural heritage while promoting religious tourism.

Road Upgradation in Udham Singh Nagar

In Udham Singh Nagar district, Rs. 1 crore has been sanctioned for the improvement of internal roads under the Municipal Corporation Rudrapur. A government order has already been issued to release the first installment of Rs. 60 lakh.

Strengthening Development and Culture in Uttarakhand

The financial approvals reflect a balanced approach by the Uttarakhand government under Mr. Pushkar Singh Dhami, focusing on infrastructure development, heritage conservation, and citizen-centric services. These projects are expected to boost connectivity, promote tourism, and improve public amenities across the state.
