Uttarakhand Chief Minister Mr. Pushkar Singh Dhami unveiled the poster of the upcoming film ‘5 September’ on Friday. The film, shot entirely across various picturesque locations in Uttarakhand, aims to bring the state’s cultural richness and natural beauty to the national forefront.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Dhami expressed pride in the growing interest of filmmakers in the state and said, “Uttarakhand is fast emerging as a favourite destination for filmmaking. The government is committed to offering every possible support through its film policy.”

Highlighting the broader impact of film production, Mr. Dhami said that such initiatives not only promote the culture and landscape of Uttarakhand but also create employment opportunities for local youth and offer them a valuable platform to showcase their talent.

The event was graced by film director Mr. Kunal Shamsher Malla and popular actors Mr. Sanjay Mishra, Mr. Brijendra Kala, and Mr. Rishabh Khanna, who also expressed their gratitude to the state for its support and scenic offerings.
