Uttarakhand Chief Minister Mr. Pushkar Singh Dhami unveiled the poster of the upcoming film ‘5 September’ on Friday. The film, shot entirely across various picturesque locations in Uttarakhand, aims to bring the state’s cultural richness and natural beauty to the national forefront.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Dhami expressed pride in the growing interest of filmmakers in the state and said, “Uttarakhand is fast emerging as a favourite destination for filmmaking. The government is committed to offering every possible support through its film policy.”

Government Support Aimed at Boosting Local Talent and Economy

Highlighting the broader impact of film production, Mr. Dhami said that such initiatives not only promote the culture and landscape of Uttarakhand but also create employment opportunities for local youth and offer them a valuable platform to showcase their talent.

“Films like this help promote tourism and culture, while also encouraging local talent to dream big,” the Chief Minister added, extending his best wishes to the entire production team. He expressed hope that the film would deeply connect with audiences across the country.

Prominent Cast and Crew Attend Launch

The event was graced by film director Mr. Kunal Shamsher Malla and popular actors Mr. Sanjay Mishra, Mr. Brijendra Kala, and Mr. Rishabh Khanna, who also expressed their gratitude to the state for its support and scenic offerings.

The unveiling of ‘5 September’ not only marks a cinematic milestone but also reaffirms Uttarakhand’s growing role as a hub for art, culture, and cinema in India.
