The Government of India has issued an order promoting six officers of Uttarakhand State Civil Services to IAS. This was done under Rule 8 (1) of Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954 against the vacancies opened by the Government of India. The order was signed and issued by Under Secretary, Pankaj Gangwar on 31 August.
