He also highlighted the state’s achievement in reducing the unemployment rate by 4.4%, surpassing the national average.

Foundation Stones Laid for 107 Projects Worth Rs. 550 Crore

As part of the development-focused event, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 107 projects worth approximately Rs. 550 crore. He also visited stalls put up by various departments and expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and affection received from the public.

Commitment to Progress and Public Welfare

Mr. Dhami reiterated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, Uttarakhand is progressing with clear policy direction and public welfare initiatives. “Development is our priority, honesty is our identity, and public service is our resolve,” he said, stressing the government’s aim to place Uttarakhand among the leading states of the country.

He added that the newly launched and proposed projects in Haridwar would serve as a milestone for regional development, further reinforcing the state’s growth trajectory.

Centre Assures Support Amid Heavy Rains

Earlier in the day, Mr. Dhami had a telephone conversation with Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah regarding the heavy rainfall in the state’s disaster-prone areas. He informed the public that the Centre has assured immediate deployment of NDRF and ITBP personnel to manage relief efforts and ensure that the Char Dham Yatra remains uninterrupted, providing safety and convenience for pilgrims.
