IPS officer Robin Hibu continuously comes up with new and innovative ways to help North Easterns residing in the capital. The ‘IPS with a big heart’ recently accelerated the vaccination drive for his people by ensuring they reached the centers without any hassle.
His organization called ‘Helping Hands’ came up with the decision of picking up and dropping the citizens back in their houses, after vaccination.
To do so, the officer has requested anyone who is left astray from the jab to register themselves with their adhaar card or any document as proof of their citizenship from North Eastern states, with the help of nodal officer, Nitin. People can register themselves through whatsapp for Covid vaccination in Delhi NCR.
“Today many NE people were picked up and dropped in their homes after covid vaccination. The least we can do for our NE strugglers in Delhi and NCR to save them from Corona virus. Let’s vaccinate all NE diaspora specially who are working at lowly unorganized private sectors, BPos students, and all those guards, gardeners, peons , sales girls, waitress, maids, pastors, contingency MTS staff in private companies or in govt,” stated the special Police Commissioner to Indian Masterminds.
Furthermore, he also requested to ask volunteers to get themselves registered and ensured that their own bus will go and pick up the people from their homes and later on, drop them back.
