The state government of West Bengal has announced the promotion of 58 IAS officers across different grades. According to the recent order three officers Narayan Swaroop Nigam, Vandana Yadav, Neelam Meena of 1998 batch has been promoted to Principal Secretary rank.
Similarly, 11 officers from 2007 batch are promoted to Secretary rank. The list includes Anurag Srivastava, Moumita Godara Basu, C Murugan,Niranjan Kumar, Ajay Bhattacharyya, Dipankar Sinh, Debashis Das, Probhudatta David Pradhan, Ajoy Sanyamath, Biswajit Dutta, Subhra Chakrabarti, Malay Ghosh
25 IAS officers of 2010 batch have been Special Secretary rank. They are Joyoshi Das Gupta,Shashank Sethi, R Vimala, R Arjun, Dr. Vishwanath, Arvind Kumar Mina, Subhas Chandra Mazumdar, Apala Sett, Krishnendu Sadhukhan, Sujata Ghosh, Parthapratim Manna, Nilanjana Dasgupta, Jaideep Duttagupta, Ritendra Narayan Basu Roy Choudhury, Kaushick Saha, Abhijit Mukhopadhyay, Sujay Sarkar, Lalita Agarwala, Md.
