Balrampur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a site inspection of the ongoing construction at Maa Pateshwari University in Balrampur on Wednesday. During the visit, he reviewed the progress of the project and issued strict instructions to the construction agency to complete the university by May 2026. The CM emphasized maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to timelines without compromise.
University Construction Review and Site Presentation
The inspection began with the planting of a Maulshree tree in the university campus, symbolizing growth and progress. CM Yogi Adityanath then reviewed a model presentation of the proposed university structures and construction plans. He also met with the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ravishankar Singh, to discuss detailed updates on the construction progress. The CM instructed regular monitoring to ensure the project stays on track.
Strict Deadline: May 2026
During the inspection, the CM made it clear that the construction must be completed by May 2026 under all circumstances. He warned that any delay or compromise in quality would not be tolerated. The Chief Minister stressed accountability at all levels and directed officials to maintain strict oversight of the project.
Visit to Academic Buildings and Labs
CM Yogi Adityanath toured the academic buildings, theater classrooms, and laboratories across the campus. The inspection included several key representatives, including MLA Palturam, MLC Saket Mishra, District Panchayat Chairperson Aarti Tiwari, BJP District President Ravi Mishra, District Magistrate Vipin Jain, University Registrar Parmanand Singh, and Controller of Examinations Dinesh Kumar Maurya, along with other officials and staff.
CM Also Inspects Government Medical College
Apart from Maa Pateshwari University, the CM also visited the Government Medical College, Balrampur. During the visit, he provided necessary directions to officials to ensure smooth functioning and development of the medical college.
