CM Yogi Launches 70 Development Projects Worth ₹352 Crore in Bahraich, Boosts Infrastructure and Welfare Growth

Bahraich: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Bahraich district and announced a major development package aimed at strengthening infrastructure and improving public services. During a programme held at Bednapur, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 70 development projects worth more than ₹352 crore related to the Mahsi and Nanpara Assembly constituencies.

The newly launched projects are expected to improve facilities in key sectors including:

  • Roads and transportation
  • Education infrastructure
  • Healthcare services
  • Drinking water supply
  • Irrigation facilities
  • Electricity and other basic amenities

The Chief Minister said that these projects will accelerate the overall development of Bahraich and provide better facilities to residents across rural and urban areas.

70 Projects Inaugurated and Foundation Stones Laid

During the programme, CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated completed projects and laid the foundation stones for several new development works. The total value of these projects is estimated at over ₹352 crore.

The projects have been designed according to local requirements and include works related to different government departments. Priority areas include:

  • Construction and improvement of roads
  • Development of government buildings

He said that Bahraich has a rich historical identity connected with courage, struggle, and cultural heritage. The government, he added, is working to preserve and promote historically significant places while ensuring modern development.

The Chief Minister emphasised that the government’s vision is to move forward by combining development with heritage conservation.

He also stressed the importance of connecting the younger generation with the district’s historical legacy.

Bahraich Moving Towards Faster Development, Says CM

CM Yogi Adityanath said that Bahraich is progressing rapidly on the path of development. He highlighted ongoing efforts in sectors such as:

According to the Chief Minister, areas that previously faced shortages in basic facilities are now being developed through planned government initiatives.
