Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday emphasised that India’s battle against terrorism is not only physical but also spiritual and moral, rooted in its ancient wisdom and philosophical traditions. Speaking at the state-level inauguration of Meditation (Yoga) for Global Unity and Trust organised by the Brahma Kumaris in Lucknow, the Chief Minister said that the mind is both the cause of bondage and liberation, echoing the teachings of Sant Ravidas.
‘Uncontrolled mental tendencies give rise to global unrest’
CM Yogi said disturbances, terrorism, and unrest across the world originate from uncontrolled mental tendencies and unstable impulses. He added that India’s spiritual knowledge has long interpreted destructive mental states as a form of terrorism, and the nation continues to fight such forces with determination.
He noted, “When the mind turns inward, peace follows—benefiting not just an individual but the entire world.”
