Gandhinagar: A delegation of 14 young Members of Parliament from Nepal, representing eight different political parties, paid a courtesy visit to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar today. The visit, organized under the banner of The Free Youth Democratic Organization of Nepal, marks the beginning of a week-long tour across Gujarat’s key landmarks and development hubs.
The Nepali MPs and political leaders are scheduled to visit iconic sites including the Statue of Unity, Dwarka, Somnath, and Amul Dairy in Anand during their stay. The delegation expressed admiration for Gujarat’s rapid and holistic development, highlighting the state’s exemplary progress in sectors such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, industrial growth, cooperative societies, and employment generation.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister welcomed the delegation and remarked that Gujarat’s achievements are a direct reflection of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of inclusive, development-oriented politics. He emphasized the effectiveness of the “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” approach, which ensures participation of all sections of society with a special focus on the marginalised and economically weaker groups, guaranteeing that benefits reach every citizen.
“The remarkable development trajectory of Gujarat and India, driven by Prime Minister Modi’s firm political will and innovative governance, has become a global benchmark and an inspiration for nations worldwide,” said Mr. Bhupendra Patel.

The visiting leaders showed keen interest in Gujarat’s development policies and governance models, especially how the state leverages science and technology to foster sustainable growth and improve citizen engagement.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, Mr. M.K. Das; Industries Commissioner Mr. P. Swaroop; along with other senior government officials.
