Does CP have any proof of #AlluArjun buying National Media? Is this appropriate @revanth_anumula ji? pic.twitter.com/Mhie9pTE6E
In a turn of events, Commissioner CV Anand has now issued an apology, acknowledging that his comments were inappropriate. He admitted to being provoked during a press interaction about ongoing investigations and expressed regret for making unnecessary generalisations about the media.
In his apology, Mr. Anand emphasised the importance of sports in shaping character, specifically mentioning how the game of cricket taught him humility and teamwork, values that he strives to live by. He also clarified that if he ever makes a mistake, he is quick to apologise, a lesson he has carried throughout his life.
“I feel bad that I got provoked and it was wrong. I withdraw my remarks wholeheartedly,” he said, reflecting on the importance of maintaining composure even in challenging situations.
