An incident in the heart of the national capital has left people praising the city police. In a bid to save others, head constables Devender and Manoj in Delhi Police, recently jumped in front of an armed miscreant, without once considering their personal safety, and stopped a tragedy from unfolding.
A CCTV video footage shared by IPS officer Madhur Verma clearly shows how the bravehearts stopped a massacre on a city thoroughfare.
The officer tweeted the video saying, “How many people will take a bullet to protect a stranger ?? Cops like Head Constable Devender and Manoj do it every day. True example of how Delhi Police officers put their lives on line for public safety.”
The Delhi police took note of the incident and awarded the constables for their quick action and bravery.
