Jharkhand IRS officer Nesha Oraon, who is currently serving as Director Panchayati Raj, Govt of Jharkhand, is quite a popular figure in the IRS community. She carries a big follower base on social media platforms like Twitter.
She recently shared a picture with her father Rameshwar Oraon who is currently serving as the Finance Minister of Jharkhand Government. While tweeting a picture from the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly, she said, “It is always a good feeling to meet dad during duty.”
Mr. Oraon was an IPS officer of 1972 batch prior getting into politics. He is a President’s Police Medal recipient and he resigned from service in 2004 to contest the general election and won on the Congress ticket. He represented the Lohardaga constituency of Jharkhand and is a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) political party.
