Mr. Kailash Makwana, a 1988-batch IPS officer, was appointed the Director General of Police (DGP) of Madhya Pradesh, on December 1st, 2024. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Bhopal and a Master’s in Technology from IIT Delhi. Throughout his career, Mr. Makwana has held significant positions, including Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Police Housing Corporation and Assistant Superintendent of Police in Durg and Morena.
