A recent act of generosity by an Indian police officer has gone viral on social media, and netizens cannot stop appreciating him.
Abhishek Pallav, the Superintendent of Police in Chhattisgarh’s Durg, was caught on camera purchasing all the balloons from a child hawker trying sell them on the street.
In the video, the officer is seen asking the child about his education and business before purchasing all of the balloons he was trying to sell.
The video was published on Facebook by a page called Lakhisarai Live, and it rapidly went viral across the country. “IPS Abhishek Pallav brought a smile to the face of this child selling balloons, receiving praise,” the caption read. It attracted over 36M views, 46K comments and 1.8M likes from individuals touched by the officer’s thoughtful gesture.
