A video that has gained a lot of attention features Anand Mishra, the former IPS officer who was known as “Assam’s Singham.” The video, which Minister Temjen Imna Along of Nagaland was shared on X, and features Mr. Mishra sharing his advice about the importance of planning and attaining minor goals as stepping stones towards realizing larger dreams.
Mr. Mishra, with his compelling presence, advises, “Chhote chhote goals banao life me. Aisa nhi hai ki ek baar me hi chhadh jao Himalaya mein. Jab chhote chhote goals aapke pure hote hai na, toh wo apko life me confidence deti hai. (Set small goals in life. It’s not like you can climb the Himalayas in one go. When you achieve these small goals, they give you confidence in life)”.
The video was further amplified by Mr. Imna Along’s caption praising Mr. Mishra’s motivating words. “His words are incredibly motivating! Take a moment to listen,” the minister wrote.

Anand Mishra is an energetic Assam-Meghalaya cadre IPS officer who gained recognition in December 2023 when he quit to pursue “freedom” and “independence” in his life. Mishra actively participated in tackling the state’s violence as a member of a Special Investigation Team in Manipur prior to his resignation.
