On the historic occasion of the 25th anniversary of Chhattisgarh’s formation, Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai paid floral tributes to Chhattisgarh Mata at the Collectorate complex in Raipur on Friday. Marking the beginning of the state’s Rajyotsav celebrations, he extended heartfelt wishes for the happiness, prosperity, and all-round development of the people of the state.

Performing a traditional puja as per Chhattisgarh’s folk traditions, the Chief Minister paid homage to Chhattisgarh Mata, describing her as a divine symbol of the state’s identity, faith, motherhood, and cultural pride. He said, “Chhattisgarh Mata represents the power and dignity of our motherland — the foundation of our culture, heritage, and unity.”
“With the Blessings of Chhattisgarh Mata, Our State is Progressing Steadily”
Mr. Sai emphasized that Chhattisgarh, blessed by Maa Chhattisgarh, has been moving forward on the path of development with determination and inclusivity. He said the land of Chhattisgarh, revered for its devotion to Maa Shakti, continues to inspire a sense of pride and collective responsibility among its people.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the Silver Jubilee year would energize the state with new resolve and direction, enabling Chhattisgarh to emerge as one of the nation’s leading and prosperous states in the years to come.
Commitment to Inclusive Growth and People-Centric Governance
Highlighting his government’s development agenda, Mr. Sai reaffirmed that the state administration is committed to ensuring the welfare of every section of society. The government, he said, is implementing wide-ranging initiatives aimed at empowering women, developing agriculture, generating employment opportunities for the youth, advancing tribal welfare, and preserving the state’s cultural and environmental heritage.
“The true celebration of our state’s foundation lies in transforming the lives of our citizens and creating opportunities that make Chhattisgarh self-reliant, strong, and proud,” Mr. Sai stated.

Mr. Sai described the 25th anniversary as a milestone symbolizing Chhattisgarh’s journey from resilience to remarkable growth. He said that this Silver Jubilee year stands for “new energy, inspiration, and the determination to build a developed and inclusive Chhattisgarh.”
The Chief Minister also mentioned that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s visit to the state for the Foundation Day celebrations adds historic significance to this moment, reflecting the Centre’s continuous support for Chhattisgarh’s growth and transformation.

Mr. Sai concluded by reiterating his vision of making Chhattisgarh a model of prosperity, social harmony, and sustainable development. “With the blessings of Chhattisgarh Mata and the guidance of our Hon’ble Prime Minister, we are moving ahead with confidence and purpose. Our goal is to see Chhattisgarh among the most progressive states of the nation,” he said.
