The Finance Department has approved the direct recruitment of 5,000 teachers and sanctioned administrative approval worth Rs. 78.15 crore for the construction of nine new nursing colleges across the state.

Health Minister Mr. Shyam Bihari Jaiswal described the move as a milestone in the state’s healthcare sector, emphasizing that each of the nine new nursing colleges will be built with an investment of Rs. 8.68 crore, totaling Rs. 78.15 crore.
“This decision under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai will strengthen the state’s healthcare system and help build a skilled medical workforce,” Mr. Jaiswal said.
The nursing colleges will provide modern training infrastructure, enabling the youth to contribute effectively to healthcare services and reduce regional disparities in medical facilities.

Finance Minister Mr. O.P. Choudhary termed these initiatives as strategic investments in Chhattisgarh’s human capital. Mr. Choudhary added that the initiatives will not only generate employment but also boost social empowerment and inclusive development.
