Out of these, over 41.50 lakh suggestions have come from rural regions and 11.50 lakh from urban areas, highlighting a strong response from grassroots citizens.

Youth Leads the Development Dialogue

The feedback data reveals that Uttar Pradesh’s youth have taken the lead in shaping the state’s development vision. Over 26 lakh suggestions came from individuals below 31 years, while about 25 lakh suggestions were from citizens aged 31 to 60 years. More than 2.5 lakh senior citizens (aged above 60) also shared their valuable insights.

This indicates growing awareness and enthusiasm among the young generation toward state-building and participatory governance.

Agriculture, Education, and Urban Development Top Priority Sectors

Among various sectors, agriculture has emerged as the top focus area with over 13 lakh suggestions, followed by education (12.50 lakh) and urban development (10.77 lakh).

Substantial suggestions have also been received in key sectors such as livestock and dairy, industry, IT and technology, tourism, rural development, infrastructure, health, social welfare, and security — reflecting a comprehensive citizen vision for holistic growth.

Jaunpur, Sambhal, and Pratapgarh Among Top Contributors

District-wise data shows that Jaunpur leads with over 3.21 lakh feedbacks, followed by Sambhal (3 lakh), Pratapgarh (1.76 lakh), Bijnor (1.67 lakh), and Gorakhpur (1.58 lakh).

Other districts contributing significantly include Bareilly (1.28 lakh), Barabanki (1.25 lakh), Sonbhadra (1.20 lakh), Hardoi (1.15 lakh), and Gonda (1.12 lakh) — indicating widespread participation across all regions.

Statewide Events Boost Public Participation

To strengthen direct engagement, the government has organized a series of events under the Mahabhiyan. These include meetings, conferences, and seminars across:

  • 15 municipal corporations
  • 212 municipalities
  • 528 town councils
  • 56 district panchayats
  • 713 area panchayats
  • 42,666 village panchayats

These platforms have facilitated dialogue among citizens, public representatives, and officials, ensuring that the state’s development roadmap aligns with people’s aspirations.

Vision 2047: A People-Centric Development Model

Chief Minister Mr. Yogi Adityanath’s vision emphasizes participatory governance and inclusive growth. The Mahabhiyan aims to ensure that by 2047 — when India celebrates 100 years of independence — Uttar Pradesh stands as a model of prosperity, infrastructure advancement, and good governance.

The state’s commitment to integrating citizens’ feedback into policy formulation represents a milestone in democratic planning and collaborative state-building.
