Chief Minister Mr. Yogi Adityanath continues to demonstrate his commitment to responsive and citizen-centric governance with the weekly Janta Darshan held on Monday. As part of this long-standing initiative, the Chief Minister personally met with more than 50 complainants from across Uttar Pradesh and issued on-the-spot directives to officials for timely redressal.

This public outreach effort reflects the Yogi government’s administrative sensitivity, prompt grievance resolution system, and people-first approach, which has become a model for effective and accountable governance in India.
Public Service with Compassion: CM Personally Listens to Every Citizen
In line with the government’s goal of “Seva, Suraksha, and Samman” (Service, Protection, and Respect), Mr. Yogi Adityanath listened patiently to citizens presenting concerns related to police issues, land disputes, electricity supply, and requests for financial assistance.
A particularly emotional moment came when a CRPF jawan from Bulandshahr shared a land dispute issue. The Chief Minister reassured him, saying, “You continue to serve the nation without worry; the government will ensure justice.”
Officials were directed to not only resolve each matter promptly but also to seek feedback from the complainants to ensure satisfaction and transparency in resolution.
Chocolates for Children, Comfort for Families
Mr. Yogi Adityanath also took time to interact warmly with children who accompanied their family members to the public hearing. He lovingly caressed their heads, gave them chocolates and toffees, and encouraged them to study well, play actively, and make their families proud.
This humane and gentle approach stood out as a reminder that compassion remains central to effective governance.
Direct Access to the Chief Minister Boosts Administrative Confidence
The initiative of weekly Janta Darshan has become a pillar of accessible governance in Uttar Pradesh, allowing citizens to directly reach the Chief Minister without bureaucratic delays. It reflects a governance model rooted in accessibility, accountability, and empathy.
By giving real-time instructions and making senior officers responsible for follow-ups, Mr. Adityanath has set a high benchmark for citizen services in the state, ensuring quick redressal and systemic improvements across departments.
A Governance Model Rooted in People’s Priorities
The regularity of Janta Darshan and the hands-on involvement of the Chief Minister signal a paradigm shift in administrative culture in Uttar Pradesh — from passive governance to active citizen engagement. This system aligns well with the state’s broader commitment to transparency, real-time redressal, and a pro-people approach.
