The main examination for CSE 2024 was held earlier in September, with candidates taking the exam in two shifts on September 20, 21, 22, 28, and 29, 2024. The first shift ran from 9 AM to 12 noon, and the second from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The exam covered a total of seven papers, starting with Paper I and ending with Paper VI and Paper VII.

The result for the main examination was officially announced on December 9, 2024. Only candidates who had successfully cleared the preliminary examination, held on June 16, 2024, and whose results were declared on July 1, 2024, were eligible to appear for the main exam.

Recruitment Details

The 2024 UPSC Civil Services Examination is set to fill a total of 1,056 vacancies across various government departments. This recruitment drive will select candidates for prestigious positions in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS), among others.

The application process for this year’s examination began on February 14, 2024, and concluded on March 5, 2024. Candidates who registered successfully were then eligible to appear for the preliminary exam and subsequent stages.

  3. Open the PDF File: Click on the link, and a PDF document will open containing the list of roll numbers of candidates who have successfully cleared the exam.
  4. Search for Your Roll Number: Candidates can search for their roll number within the PDF. Once found, they are advised to download the document for future reference.
