UPSC CSE-2022 Cut Off Out: For General 960, ST 900; See Full List Here

The commission has released the UPSC Cut Off marks category-wise for each stage separately.

The prestigious UPSC CSE-2022 exam results are out, 933 candidates have been selected of which 320 are girls. Now the Commission has also released the ‘Final Cut-Off Marks’ for the Prelims, Mains, and Interview round conducted.

The commission has released the Cut Offs category-wise for each stage separately.

Cut Off for Prelims Exam include marks for General Studies-I as the CSAT paper is only qualifying in nature. UPSC Cut Off 2021 for Preliminary Exam for the General category goes to 88.22, for OBC the cut-off is 87.54, for the SC category, it is 74.08. For other categories, Cut Off 2022 has been tabulated below.

Last year, for UPSC CSE-2021, cut off was 87.54 for general, for OBC the cut-off was 84.85, for the SC category, it was 75.41. 

UPSC CSE-2022 Cut Off for Mains Exam for the General category goes to 748 marks, for OBC the cut-off is 714 marks, for the SC category, it is 699 marks. For other categories, Cut Off 2022 has been tabulated up.

Last year, UPSC Cut Off 2021 for Mains Exam was 745 for general, 707 for OBC and 700 for SC category.

For UPSC CSE 2022, the final cut-off for the general category is 960, for the EWS category cut-off reaches 926, for OBC, the cut off is 923 and for SC category, it is 893. For other categories refer to the upper table.

Last year, for UPSC CSE 2021, the final cut-off for the general category was 953, for the EWS category cut-off reached 916, for OBC, the cut off was 910.

UPSC CSE 2022 Final Result were released on 23rd May 2023 along with the UPSC Topper List 2023 on its official website.

A day after releasing the result of prestigious UPSC CSE-2022 exam, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Marks of Civil Services Final Examination. Candidate’s written exam marks, interview marks and the total — it is available online now.

This year, Ishita Kishore, the Greater Noida candidate who topped the exam, secured a total of 1094 marks, including 901 in the mains written exam and 193 in the interview. While second topper, Garima Lohia, got 876 marks in written test and 187 marks in interview, total 1063. Third, Uma Harathi N has scored 873 marks in written test and 187 marks in interview, total marks 1060.

Women candidates once again excelled securing the top four positions in UPSC CSE. There are six women in the Top 10. The top 25 successful candidates consisted of 14 women and 11 men, with diverse educational backgrounds ranging from engineering to humanities, medical science and commerce.

The marks of all selected candidates have been released.

This year, out of the 1,011 vacancies, 180 vacancies are for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), 200 for Indian Police Service (IPS), 37 for Indian Foreign Services (IFS) and 92 for Indian Revenue Services (IRS). There are also 150 vacancies for the newly introduced service – the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS).

The UPSC Civil Services Examination is one of the most prestigious and toughest examinations in India, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to recruit suitable candidates for 17 civil services of India including IAS, IPS, IFS, and other allied services.
