UPSC ESE 2025 Mains Result Out: 1,376 Candidates Qualify for Personality Test – Check Roll Numbers & Guidelines

New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025 Mains result on September 4. Candidates who qualified in the mains exam will now move forward to the Personality Test/Interview round, with strict instructions to update academic details through the One Time Registration (OTR) Module on the official website.

UPSC ESE 2025 Mains Result Out

The UPSC ESE Mains 2025 exam was held on August 10, and the result is now available at upsc.gov.in

This marks the second stage of the highly competitive three-tier recruitment process for engineering positions in government services.

The preliminary exam was conducted on June 8, with results declared on June 20.

What’s Next: Interview/Personality Test

Candidates declared qualified in the ESE Mains will now appear for the Personality Test/Interview, the third and final stage of the selection process. Interview dates will be notified shortly by the Commission.

Important: Update Educational Qualification via OTR

UPSC has clearly stated that candidates must update their educational qualifications and other essential details on the One Time Registration (OTR) Module at upsconline.gov.in

 within 15 days. Failure to do so will lead to disqualification from the Personality Test.

In addition to academic details, candidates will also need to update:

  • Correspondence/postal address
  • Higher qualifications
  • Employment/service experience
  • Service allocation and preferences

  • Visit the official website: upsc.gov.in
  • Click on the ‘ESE Mains 2025 Result’ link.
  • View/download the PDF and search for your roll number.
  • Save a copy for future reference.
  • Marks & Cut-off to Be Released Later

The marks obtained in the mains and prelims, along with the cut-off, will be published after the final result declaration — following completion of the entire recruitment process.
