Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Transfers ₹1,541 Crore to 1.26 Crore Women Under Ladli Behna Yojana in Petlawad

Petlawad, Jhabua: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has once again demonstrated his government’s commitment to women’s empowerment by transferring ₹1,541 crore to the bank accounts of 1.26 crore women beneficiaries under the Ladli Behna Yojana. The event was held in Petlawad, Jhabua district, and also included the inauguration of several development projects in the region.

Strong Message to Opposition

During the program, CM Mohan Yadav addressed allegations from the opposition Congress party that funds under the Ladli Behna scheme are misused by beneficiaries. He urged the women present to question Congress leaders on these baseless claims, stating that whenever the government benefits women, opposition parties feel threatened. His remarks highlighted the government’s dedication to improving the socio-economic status of women across the state.

Event Highlights and Dignitaries Present

Arriving in Petlawad via helicopter from Indore, CM Mohan Yadav was warmly welcomed by BJP leaders and government officials. The event witnessed the presence of prominent leaders, including Cabinet Minister Vijay Shah and Women and Child Development Minister Nirmala Bhuria. Thousands of women beneficiaries of the Ladli Behna Yojana gathered to witness the release of the scheme’s 28th installment.

Financial Disbursement and Additional Benefits

The Chief Minister released ₹1,541 crore to beneficiaries across Madhya Pradesh, which included ₹23.60 crore credited to 1.92 lakh women in Jhabua district alone. Besides the Ladli Behna Yojana funds, the government also transferred benefits related to social security pensions and the Ujjwala scheme’s gas refill subsidy to eligible women.

Development Projects and Inclusive Welfare Initiatives

In addition to the fund transfer, CM Mohan Yadav performed the ground-breaking and inauguration of several developmental works worth crores in Petlawad. The event also marked the distribution of petrol-powered four-wheelers to 11 differently-abled BPL (Below Poverty Line) beneficiaries, further reinforcing the government’s focus on inclusive growth and welfare for all sections of society.

The Ladli Behna Yojana continues to play a vital role in empowering women in Madhya Pradesh by providing them with direct financial assistance. CM Mohan Yadav’s active involvement in such initiatives reflects the state government’s resolve to enhance women’s socio-economic conditions while promoting transparency and efficient governance.
