Chhattisgarh government has released the transfer list of 9 IPS officers. The transfer list of IPS officers was released on Monday evening. This includes the SPs of 7 districts. The police captain has been changed after nearly four years in the heavily Naxal-affected Dantewada district. Dr. Abhishek Pallav has been made SP of Janjgir Champa district instead of Dantewada. In his place, Siddharth Tiwari has been made Dantewada SP. Apart from these, the SPs of Rajnandgaon, Korea, Mahasamund, Dhamtari have also been changed.
According to the list released by the state government, D Shravan has been sent from Rajnandgaon to Raigad. Against this, Prakhar Pandey was made the SP Chief Minister Security. Dr. Abhishek Pallav was removed from Dantewada and made SP Janjgir-Champa. Siddharth Tiwari has been made SP Dantewada from Kondagaon. Prafulla Thakur was removed from Dhamtari and made Korea SP.
Prashant Thakur has been shifted from Janjgir to SP Dhamtari. Divyang Patel was removed from Mahasamund and made SP Kondagaon. Vivek Shukla has been made Superintendent of Police, Mahasamund. Whereas Santosh Singh has been removed from Korea and made Rajnandgaon SP.
Since the formation of the Congress government in Chhattisgarh in the year 2018, the SP has changed in almost every district from 2 to 4 times, but Dantewada is the only district in which the SP changed for the first time after the formation of the new government. From the time of the previous government, the command of police in Dantewada district was with Dr. Abhishek Pallav. The Bhupesh government in the state also did not make any changes here. That is why for a long time there was discussion about changing the SP in Dantewada. The name of Dantewada SP Abhishek Pallav is also included in the list released.
