The Uttrakhand state government has issued transfer and posting order for the two IAS officers. The order includes administrative officer Eva Aashish Srivastava and Ashish Kumar Chauhan.
Ms. Srivastava has been appointed as the District Collector of Tehri Garhwal. According to a notification issued by the Chief Secretary to Uttrakhand government, she will also hold the responsibility of Director of Rehabilitation Tehri Dam Project. Let it be noted that position of DM, Tehri was vacant since the transfer of IAS officer Mangesh Ghildiyal. He has been appointed as the under Secretary to the Prime Minister’s office and his tenure will be for four years.
Ms. Srivastav, an officer of 2012 batch is currently the Additional Secretary (Administration) in the state government. Along with this, she also had additional charge of Managing Director of Garhwal Mandal Development Corporation and Joint Chief Electoral Officer. She has also served as the DM of Almora and was appreciated for her work towards the cleanliness of the district.
Meanwhile, Ashish Kumar Chauhan will take up the post as MD of Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam. He is currently the Additional Secretary of Civil Avaition. He has also served as the DM of Uttarkashi.
