Just before the ‘Passing Out Parade’ of 75 RR (Regular Recruit), the officer trainees participated in the Director’s Parade that was held at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy on 23 October. The passing out parade is to be held on 27 October.
The Director’s Parade was commanded by IPS officer Ms. Anushtha Kalia of AGMUT cadre of 75RR. A total of 175 officer trainees, including 20 foreign officers and more than 30 female officers, participated in the parade. On the occasion, Director of the Academy Amit Garg IPS, inspected the parade and addressed the probationers.
AWARDS
The parade was followed by an award ceremony. IPS officer of Rajasthan Cadre Mr. Nischay Prasad M won the Medal for the Best Probationer in Drill. Earlier, this officer commanded the Independence Day Parade in the Academy.
Whereas Ishan Soni of Uttar Pradesh cadre won the Medal for the Best Probationer in Musketry and Simran Bhardwaj of Gujarat cadre won the Medal for Best Lady Probationer in PT.

Besides them, 30 officials of the Academy were awarded Director’s Commendation Roll & Insignia and Director’s Commendation Roll on the occasion of the Director’s Parade. This awards ceremony was followed by the cultural night for the IPS trainees of 75 RR. Many OTs showcased their talents in singing, dancing and acting, in solo and group performances.
