Kushinaga: Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Youth of India Foundation under the “Khelega Bharat, Badhega Bharat” initiative to promote fitness and preventive health at the grassroots level in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh.
Under the initiative, open gym equipment will be installed at selected government schools and community spaces across the Kushinagar Lok Sabha Constituency. The project will also cover the Vishunpura Aspirational Block, with the aim of making accessible fitness infrastructure available to both children and adults.
The initiative forms part of HURL’s community-focused efforts to encourage healthier lifestyles and greater participation in regular physical activity.
Open Gyms to Be Installed at Schools and Community Spaces
As part of the MoU, selected government schools and community spaces in Kushinagar will be equipped with open gym facilities.
The infrastructure is intended to provide residents with convenient access to basic fitness equipment within their communities, helping encourage regular exercise without the need for specialised indoor facilities.
The project will cover:
- Selected government schools across Kushinagar
- Community spaces in the constituency
- Vishunpura Aspirational Block
- Fitness facilities accessible to children and adults
- Open gym equipment designed to encourage regular physical activity
