The world order is changing fast. Every country has right to defend its borders and interests. That’s giving rise to frequent conflicts. A minion Ukrain is fighting with the mighty Russia for past three years. USA was in involved in limited conflicts in Afghanistan besides Iran, Iraq, Libya, Syria for past some time. These involuted heavy financial and manpower costs.
But, things have changed. Now, US drones eliminate a Qasim Sulemani or an Ayaman Al-Zawahiri in surprise raids controlled by someone sitting thousands of kms away. Or Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro is abducted without giving him a chance to retract in his steel-cased safe house.
We want to know a lot about these actions. How are these raids planned? How were they executed? How many personnel were involved? What equipments, gadgets and weaponary was deployed? How was the operation kept a secret for not hours or days or even weeks – months at end.
But, not much is available in public domain except what is given out through official media releases. That’s why Indian Masterminds spoke to someone who has been part of these military operations, who has been training such commandos and who knows military strategies like back of his palm. He is Col. MV Shashidhar, a war veteran ego was posted in Uri, when surgical strikes were conducted across the border.

How are precision strikes planned and executed? What are the lessons of Uri, Balakot and Muridke skirmishes? What lessons can be drawn from Ukraine-Russia war?
