Meet IPS officer Abhinay Vishwakarma, a man of discipline, integrity, and hard work, currently serving as ADCP Zone 4 in Indore.
Born and raised in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, he was fascinated by police services and dreamt of being a swashbuckling officer one day serving his country. He left a corporate job as a mechanical engineer to pursue his dream.
His UPSC preparation was a rigorous process that involved a lot of self-discipline. He spent hours studying and reading various books and newspapers to keep himself abreast of current affairs. He also took coaching classes to improve his knowledge and understanding of the subjects.
He cleared the UPSC exam on his first attempt with AIR-196 and was selected for the IPS. He is a shining example of how passion and perseverance can help one achieve one’s dreams.
