The state government of Assam has ordered major reshuffle at administrative level bar transferring several IAS officers. This is the first transfer and posting of officer after the formation of new government in the state. The recent order came into effect after a notification issued by the secretary to personnel (administration) department of Assam government. The transferred officers are :
IAS officer Aayush Garg , who is serving as deputy secretary to the finance department of Assam, is transferred and posted as the deputy commissioner of Baksa.
Binita Pegu (IAS) is transferred and posted as the deputy commissioner of Charaideo. He is currently serving as secretary to WPT & BC, Personnel, AR&T departments and director, TRI, Assam,
IAS officer Narendra Kumar Shah serving as additional deputy commissioner of Hailakandi, is transferred and posted as deputy commissioner of Chirang. On the other hand, Prabhati Thaosen (IAS) is transferred and posted as the deputy commissioner of Darrang.
P Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy (IAS), serving as additional deputy commissioner of Darrang, is transferred and posted as deputy commissioner of Dhemaji and Anbamuthan MP (IAS), serving as deputy commissioner of Karimganj, is transferred and posted as deputy commissioner of Dhubri.
Manavendra Pratap Singh and Rohan Kumar Jha has been posted as deputy commissioner of Golaghat and Hailakandi respectively. Sumit Sattawan (IAS) has been posted as deputy commissioner of Lakhimpur while Megha Nidhi Dahal (IAS) will take charge as the deputy commissioner of Kokrajhar.
Pawar Narsing Sambhaji (IAS), serving as additional secretary to industries & commerce and skill, entrepreneurship development departments, is transferred and posted as deputy commissioner of Tinsukia.
Hivare Nisarg Gautam (IAS) has been made the deputy commissioner of South Salmara Mankachar. Dr. P. Uday Praveen (IAS), serving as deputy secretary to election department and joint CEO, Assam, is transferred and posted as deputy commissioner of Udalguri. Apart from them several ACS officers has also been given new postings.
