IAS officer Rajesh Prabhakar Patil will go on deputation to Maharashtra cadre for three years. He is a 2005 batch IAS of Odisha cadre. It is said that he took this transfer on personal grounds. The senior is currently posted as the director, National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM). Previously, he was also serving as the Director (Special projects) of PR & DW department.
Let it be noted that, the Centre and the State government can allow any officer to go on inter-deputation under the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954.
