The state government of Tamil Nadu has transferred four IPS officers and assigned them with new charges. According to the order issued by Home Ministry, B Vijayakumari has been transferred and posted as the Additional Commissioner, Headquarters and Traffic in Avadi Commissionerate. The officer who started her career as DSP in 1997 was earlier posted as IGP, Enforcement, Chennai.
Whereas a 2004 batch officer N Kamini who was serving as IGP, Crime, Chennai, has now been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner, Headquarters and Traffic in Tambaram Commissionerate. S Jeyakumar, SP, Thoothukudi has been transferred to the CB-CID in Special Investigation Division, Chennai. On other hand, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Headquarters, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai L Balaji Saravanan, has been transferred and posted as SP, Thoothukudi District.
