Haryana : 34 IAS officers will take new charge with immediate effect

The Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister V Umashankar will now take charge as the principal secretary to the chief minister.

The state government of Haryana announced a major reshuffle of IAS officers. 34 officers were transferred and posted on Monday, according to an order signed by the Chief Secretary Vijayi Vardhan. The officers will take charge of the new position with immediate effect. 

The order also included Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister V Umashankar. Mr. Umashankar has been appointed as the principal secretary to the chief minister in place of  DS Dhesi. He will also hold the additional charge of principal secretary in the citizen resources information and information technology, electronics and communication departments.

Let it be known that Rajesh Khullar (1989), the chief principal secretary to CM has been appointed as the executive director of the World Bank in Washington. After that DS Dhesi took his place in October.

Along with him, Dheera Khandelwal, Additional Chief Secretary, Art and Cultural Affairs department has also been transferred. He will now be the Additional Chief Secretary, Information, Public Relations and Languages department and Additional Chief Secretary, Environment and Climate Change department. On the other hand Mahavir Singh has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Labour Department. He is currently the Additional Chief Secretary, School Education department. Other senior officers like Sunil Kumar, Anurag Rastogi, Vineet Garg, G Anupam, D Suresh, Rajeev Ranjan, Pankaj Yadav, Amneet P Kumar, T L Satyaprakash, Ashok Sangwan, Chander Shekhar, Sanjeev Verma, Anita Yadav, Ramesh Chander Bidan, Pardeep Kumar, Sushil Sarwan has also been assigned with new post.
