On Friday 16 October, seven IAS officers have been transferred in Jharkhand, some of which have been posted with a new charge and some with additional charge.
2014-batch IAS officer Nancy Sahay has been given an additional charge as the director of the Swachh Bharat Mission. Whereas, Chhitaranjan Kumar has been appointed as the secretary of the revenue council.
2006-batch IAS officer who was currently holding the charge of Director of Agriculture has now been posted as the Director of Department of Information Technology. Whereas, A Muthukumar who was holding the charge of Higher Education Director has been transferred and posted as Labour Commissioner of Jharkhand.
Sanjeev Kumar Besra has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Planning cum Finance Department. He was previously holding the charge of Tourism Director of Jharkhand also an additional charge of Managing Director of Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation.
2013-batch IAS officer Zeeshan Qamar has been posted as the director of sports department. Whereas, IAS officer A. Dodde has been given an additional charge of Director of Tourism Department and Managing Director of Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation.
