Uttarakhand government in a reshuffle on 30 July, transferred eight IAS officers including District Magistrates of Udham Singh Nagar, Bageshwar, and Uttarkashi.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel, Dr. Neeraj Kharwal has been removed from the posts of DM Udham Singh Nagar and Managing Director of Tarai Seed Development Corporation. He has been now appointed as the additional secretary of the Chief Minister and MD of Energy and UPCL.
Whereas, Ranjana Rajguru who was holding the charge of DM Bageshwar, has been removed from the current post and has been posted as the DM of Udham Singh Nagar, replacing Neeraj Kharwal.
Vineet Kumar an IAS officer who was holding the charge of Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Nainital, has been posted as the DM of Bageshwar replacing Ranjana Rajguru.
Similarly, Ashish Kumar Chauhan who was currently the DM of Uttarkashi has been appointed as Additional Secretary of and Civil Aviation Department and the CEO of UCADA. Ashish Kumar has been replaced by Mayur Dixit who will be now holding the charge of DM of Uttarkashi. Dixit has been removed from his previous position of CDO Udham Singh Nagar.
Narendra Singh Bhandari an IAS officer who was holding the charge of Municipal Commissioner Haridwar has been posted as the CDO of Nainital replacing Vineet Kumar. Lastly, Himanshu Khurana who was currently serving as the CDO of Pauri has been transferred as CDO of Udham Singh Nagar replacing Mayur Dixit.
