In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, Nitish Kumar led Bihar government has given new responsibilities to 3 senior IAS officers. Surprisingly, Anand Kishore, who is a 1997 batch IAS officer and currently serving as Principal Secretary in Urban Development Department which is with Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, has been shifted.
1992 batch IAS officer Arunish Chawla, who is Additional Chief Secretary in Planning Development Department, has been given additional charge of Urban Development Department. Along with this, Chawla has been given the additional charge of Managing Director of Patna Metro.
While Mr Kishore has been relieved of the additional charge of Managing Director of Urban Development and Patna Metro. Now he will remain only the chairman of Bihar Board.
IAS officer Dharmendra Singh has been given additional charge of Mines and Geology Department. Patna Municipal Commissioner IAS officer Animesh Kumar Parashar has been given the additional charge of Special Secretary, Urban Development Department.
