The Gujarat government on Monday promoted and transferred nine IAS officers. It includes 2006-batch IAS officers who all are now promoted to the rank of secretary and also effected transfers. An official notification from the General Administration Department stated Monday.
Vadodara district collector and the Managing Director of the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd (TCGL) R B Barad has also been promoted and transferred. He was promoted to the Super Time Scale of IAS and was transferred to the Forest and Environment Department. While A B Gor, CEO of the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) has been appointed as the new Vadodara district collector.
