2008 batch IAS officer of Chhattisgarh cadre, Mr. Niraj Kumar Bansod has been appointed As Private Secretary to the Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation, Mr. Amit Shah in the Ministry of Cooperation.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of him. As per an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training, Bansod has been appointed to the post for a period up to September 29, 2027 with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or on co-terminus basis with the Minister or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever earlier.
He was currently serving as Director in the Cabinet Secretariat. He had served as CEO of Bilaspur Zila Panchayat and Sukma District Collector in his previous assignments.
