IAS officer of the 2012 batch, Senu Duggal joined as Deputy Commissioner of Fazilka today. She is the 11th DC of the district and the third woman officer to head the border district of Fazilka.
Senu Duggal worked as an Additional Director and other positions in the Information and Public Relations Department before she was inducted in the IAS cadre. She has also served as special secretary General Administration and coordination and Special Secretary printing and stationary in the state government.
Senu Duggal will also hold the additional charge of Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Abohar. She paid her tributes to Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar before taking charge.
Senu Duggal has sought cooperation from the citizens of Fazilka in implementing the welfare schemes of Bhagwant Mann government. She said that health, cleanliness, security, transparent governance and care for the elderly people will be her priority.
