In a minor bureaucratic change, Ladakh Government has assigned new departments to 3 IAS Officers.
1994 batch senior IAS officer Sanjeev Khirwar will be secretary of 3 new departments. It includes School Education, Housing & Urban Development, Department and Industries & Commerce Department.
2012 batch IAS officer Ravinder Kumar who is also holding the charge of Secretary to the HLG, is also assigned 3 more Department. He will be secretary of Hospitality & Protocol Department, Estates Department, Civil Aviation Department.
While 2012 batch IAS officer Amit Sharma will be secretary 5 Departments. It includes Rural Development Department, Information Technology Department, Science & Technology Department, Transport Department and Disaster Management, Relief Rehabilitation & Reconstruction Department.
