Chhattisgarh: 26 IAS Transferred, 6 Districts Get New DMs

The Chhattisgarh government has issued transfer and posting orders for 26 IAS officers across the state.

With barely six months left for the Chhattisgarh Assembly polls, a major bureaucratic reshuffle was carried out as 26 IAS officers were transferred and 6 new District Magistrates were posted.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

  1. Renu G Pilley (IAS:1991:CG), Additional Chief Secretary, Sports, and Youth Welfare Department with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Science & Technology Department, Additional Chief Secretary, Religious Trust & Endowment Department and DG, Chhattisgarh Administrative Academy, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health & Family Welfare and Medical Education Education Department with additional charge of the posts of Additional Chief Secretary, Science & Technology Department, Additional Chief Secretary, Religious Trust & Endowment Department and DG, Chhattisgarh Administrative Academy.
  2. Prasanna R (IAS:2004:CG), Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Department with additional charge of Secretary, Public Health & Family Welfare and Medical Education Department, has been relieved from the additional charge of Secretary, Medical Education Department.
  3. Alarmelmangai D (IAS:2009:CG), Secretary, Finance Department with additional charge of Secretary, Pension Resolution Committee, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, General Administration Department.
  4. Ankit Anand (IAS:2006:CG), Secretary, Energy Department with additional charge of Chairman, CG State Electricity Company and Secretary, Chief Minister, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Finance Department with additional charge of Secretary, Pension Resolution Committee.
  5. P Dayanand (IAS:2006:CG), Director, Aayush, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Medical Education Department.
  6. C R Prasanna (IAS:2006:CG), Secretary, Skill Development Department with an additional charge of Commissioner, Health Services, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Health Services.
  7. Shammi Abidi (IAS:2007:CG), Commissioner, SC & ST Development with additional charge of MD, Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation, Director, Tribal Research & Training Institute, and Commissioner, Waqf Survey, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Skill Development.
  8. Mohammad Kaisar Abdul Haq (IAS:2007:CG), Secretary, Panchayat & Rural Development Department with additional charge Commissioner, Mahatma Gandhi NREGA, Raipur, OSD, Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Chhattisgarh State Election Commission with an additional charge of Commissioner, Medical Education.
  9. Janak Prasad Pathak (IAS:2007:CG), Special Secretary, Forest Department with additional charge of Special Secretary (Independent Charge), Housing and Environment Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Housing and Environment Department.
  10. Narendra Kumar Dugga (IAS:2009:CG), Mission Director, Samagra Shiksha with an additional charge of Co-operative Society, has been transferred and posted as Collector, Manendra-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
  11. Tamboli Ayyaj Phakirbhai (IAS:2009:CG), Special Secretary, Agriculture Department with an additional charge of Nodal Officer, Narva, Garuva, Ghurva, Badi and Chhattisgarh Godhan Nyaya Yojana, Incharge Officer, Mati Pujan Abhiyan, Member Secretary, Narwa Mission, Special Secretary (Independent Charge), Urban Administration and Development, has been given additional charge of Director, Urban Administration and Development.
  12. Ramesh Kumar Sharma (IAS:2010:CG), Director, Social Welfare with additional charge of the posts of Director, Land Records, Director, Printing & Stationery, and Director, Religious Trust, and Endowment, has been given additional charge of Registrar, Cooperative Societies.
  13. Chandan Kumar (IAS:2011:CG), Collector, Bastar, has been transferred and posted as Collector, Baloda Bazar- Bhatapara.
  14. Remijius Ekka (IAS:2011:CG), Secretary, Chhattisgarh State Election Commission with additional charge of Joint Secretary, Urban Administration Department, Director, Urban Administration and Development has been transferred and posted as Collector, Balrampur-Ramanujganj.
  15. Rajat Bansal (IAS:2012:CG), Collector, Baloda Bazar- Bhatapara, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Mahatma Gandhi NAREGA.
  16. Effat Ara (IAS:2012:CG), Collector, Surajpur, has been transferred and posted as MD, Samagra Shiksha with additional charge of the posts of Mission Director, Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural) and OSD, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection.
  17. Sanjay Agrawal (IAS:2012:CG), Joint Secretary, GAD with an additional charge of Joint Secretary, PWD and Civil Aviation, Mission Director, Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural), has been transferred and posted as Collector, Surajpur.
  18. Divya Umesh Mishra (IAS:2012:CG), Director, Women, and Child Welfare with an additional charge of Joint Secretary, Industries, has been given additional charge of the posts of Mission Director, National Rural Livelihood Mission, and CEO, State Skill Development Authority.
  19. Namrata Gandhi (IAS:2013:CG), Director, Pension with additional charge Commissioner, Medical Education, has been transferred and posted as Director, Ayush Department with an additional charge of Director, Pension.
