IAS Anurag Jain Takes Charge As Secretary MoRTH

Mr Jain has replaced Ms. Alka Upadhyaya, a 1990 batch IAS officer of MP cadre, who was transferred and posted as Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying.

A 1989 batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre, Mr Anurag Jain, has taken charge as Secretary in the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH).

Earlier, he worked as Secretary in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT). The senior IAS has also worked in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry among many other key positions.

Mr. Jain replaced Ms. Alka Upadhyaya, a 1990 batch IAS of MP cadre, who was transferred and posted as Secretary in the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying.
