Major Reshuffle in Uttarakhand, 43 Officers Including 8 IAS Officers Transferred

Uttarakhand government issued a transfer order of 43 officers including eight IAS officers ahead of the upcoming legislative assembly elections.

On Monday, a late-night transfer order was released by the Uttarakhand government. According to the list, the charge of Panchayat Raj Director has been withdrawn from Nitesh Kumar Jha. Secretary Radhika Jha has been given the additional responsibility of Investment Commissioner New Delhi, while S A Murugesan has been made Secretary Rural development. Harish Chandra Semwal on the other hand has been removed from the position of Director, Consolidated Child Development Program.

The charge of Director Urban development has been taken back from Vinod Kumar Suman while Mr. Rajiv Kumar Yadav has been relieved from the responsibilities of Director Skill Development and Training.

Additional Secretary Ashish Kumar Srivastava has been given the additional charge of Additional Secretary Planning. Nitin Kumar Bhadauria has been removed from the charge of Additional Secretary Panchayati Raj.

Executive Director Shirish Kumar will take the responsibility of Additional Secretary Labor whereas Jeevan Singh Nagar has been given the responsibility of Divisional Food Controller.
