The Bihar government on Saturday, 19 June, issued a transfer order of five IAS officers in the state. This includes District Magistrates of Munger, Sitamarhi and Jehanabad.
According to the order, District Magistrate of Munger Rachna Patil has been transferred to the General Administration Department as Additional Secretary. Whereas, District Magistrate of Sitamarhi Abhilasha Kumari Sharma has been made Joint Secretary in the Finance Department.
2011 batch IAS Navin Kumar, presently serving as the District Magistrate of Jehanabad has replaced Patil as DM Munger.
Apart from this, Joint Secretary of Finance Department Sunil Kumar Yadav has been made District Magistrate of Sitamarhi and Himanshu Kumar Rai, Additional Secretary of General Administration department, has been posted as DM Jehanabad.
