The Himachal Pradesh government on 22 June, transferred 43 IAS officers which includes Deputy Commissioners of eight districts.
Among the senior officers, 1997 batch Subhashish Panda who is currently serving Principal Secretary (Public Works Department), has now been given the Tourism and Civil Aviation department in the same capacity.
Whereas, 1998 batch IAS Devesh Kumar has been made Secretary to the Chief Minister. He will also hold the charge of the Secretary (General Administrative Department, Secretariat Administration, Sainik Welfare and Parliamentary Affairs) to the government of Himachal Pradesh.
2007 batch IAS Rakesh Kumar has been made Secretary to Governor in Himachal Pradesh. He shall continue to hold the charge of State Project Director, Zero Budget Natural Farming in the Department of Agriculture.
