Senior IAS Officer Deepak Rawat of Uttarakhand will now be the Commissioner of Kumaon. On Wednesday, the government issued orders for his transfer. The government has entrusted this responsibility to IAS Deepak Rawat, removing him from Pitkul.
Along with this, Deepak Rawat has also been entrusted with the responsibility of Director of RS Tolia, Uttarakhand Administrative Academy. 2007 batch officer was most recognized on social media during his posting Haridwar District Magistrate.
Earlier, Deepak Rawat has also played the important responsibility of MD of Kumaon Mandal Development Corporation including Bageshwar and Nainital District Magistrate. After this he was also made the Kumbh Mela officer. Recently he was also given important responsibility of Managing Director in Energy Corporation.
With this, the government has transferred IAS and PCS officers on a large scale in the state. The state government has transferred 35 IAS and PCS officers including District Magistrate Udham Singh Nagar. The government has entrusted the responsibility of District Magistrate Udham Singh Nagar to IAS couple Kishore Pant. While the present District Magistrate Ranjana has been given the responsibility of Additional Secretary Tourism, Civil Aviation and Chief Executive Officer.
Along with this, Divisional Commissioner Kumaon Sushil Kumar has been made Divisional Commissioner Garhwal, while the responsibility of Divisional Commissioner Kumaon has not been entrusted to anyone.
Apart from this, the state government has not appointed anyone to this post due to the retirement of Secretary Harbansh Singh Chugh. In fact, according to the transfer list released by the government late night, while increasing the charge of Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, he has been given additional charge of energy and alternative energy. At the same time, the responsibility of state assets and information technology has been taken away from Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu, one of the officers close to CM Dhami.
