In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Assam government led by Himanta Biswa Sarma transferred six IAS officer with immediate effect.
IAS officer Ravi Shankar Prasad has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture with additional charge of Addl. Chief Secretary Animal Husbandry, Veterinary and Fisheries, and Additional Production Commissioner.
Whereas, Rajesh Prasad has been posted as Principal Secretary, Transport, irrigation, and Soil Conservation in Government of Assam.
Krishna Kumar Dwivedi has been relieved from the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Transport.
Also, Mukesh Ch. Sahu has been relieved from the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Soil Conservation.
Shantanu P. Gotmare has been posted as Principal Secretary, Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). Whereas, Anant Lal Gyani has been relieved from the charge of Principal Secretary BTR, and will continue to serve as Secretary of BTR until further order.
