3 IPS from J&K Cadre promoted

3 IPS officers from the Jammu and Kashmir Cadre have been promoted to senior ranks.

According to an official order by the Home Department, three senior IPS officers have been promoted to the rank of Director General of Police and two others as Additional Director General of Police in J&K.

In accordance with the order, B Srinivas will be continuing as the Commandant General, Home Guards/CD/SDRF, J&K upon his promotion to the grade of Director General of Police (DGP), level 16 in the pay matrix. He will continue to hold his post as Addl. Director, F&ES, J&K.

S D Singh would continue with his post as the head of Security Wing alongside his promotion as the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) level 15 in the pay matrix. He will also continue holding the charge of the post of Director, SSG, J&K and Director SKPA, Udhampur.

T NamgyalKalon has been promoted as the Additional Director General of Police (AGDP) level 15 in the pay matrix. He will also continue holding the position of head of the Traffic Wing.
