Amrendra Kumar Singh, a 1990 batch IPS officer from Sikkim, has been appointed to the post of Director General of Police (Head of Police Force), Sikkim for a period of two years.
Prior to this assignment, he was serving as Special DGP/Director, Sikkim Vigilance Police.
Apart from this, A Sudhakar Rao, a 1989 batch IPS officer, presently Special DGP, Special Branch with additional charge of DGP, Sikkim has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department.
